Looking for a way to heat your conservatory or summer house when the weather is cool then it is worth considering installing some natural gas space heaters. As well as offering a much more effective way to heat such spaces you will find that these energy efficient space heaters cost considerably less to run than other forms of space heaters on the market.
But before you do go and invest money in such equipment it is a good idea to learn a little about the different kinds there are. Today there are three different types of natural gas space heaters you can select from.
First you have the radiant type that work at making a room feel warm by heating up objects such as walls and floors then heat coming off these is radiated into the room. Next there is the convection kind and warm air flows out of this into a room after being heated by an element inside the heater. Then there is the forced air kind of natural gas space heaters which again has an element inside that heats the air passing through it before pushing it out into the room using the fan installed inside. The problem with the last two models discussed above is that they make quite a lot of noise because of the fans inside them.
So once you have decided what sort of natural gas space heater you want for your home the next thing you need to decide upon is what make and model you purchase. At the end of the day the one you choose will depend on what size room needs heating and how much you can afford to spend on this piece of equipment. As with all the models we look at in this article this one requires no electricity in order to operate it. But unlike others we discuss in this article this one can be mounted on a wall if you wish and the thermostat on this model is allows you to control the amount of heat that this one outputs. So being able to maintain a consistent temperature within the room shouldn’t prove a problem.
2. Empire SR10G Radiant Vent Free Space Heater
This one differs in design from the other models discussed in that it radiates heat into the room through the use of infrared. So making it considerably trimmer in design than the other models and is ideal for use in small rooms such as bathrooms. It comes with a manual control allowing you to determine the level of heat that this type of heater emits.
3. World Marketing KWN111 2 Plaque Infrared Space Wall Heater
These particular types of natural gas space heaters are suitable for large rooms measuring up to 300 square feet in size. Like the first model discussed this one is also fitted with a Piezo ignition system which makes starting it up easy but also can be done very quickly. Having the controls mounted on top of the unit also makes the task of adjusting the amount of heat the heater emits much easier. As with all natural gas space heaters you will find that these units run extremely efficiently and cost only a few cents each hour to run.
